Goo-Goor-Gaga the Kookaburra

Long ago in the Dreamtime, when the animals were first on the earth which were very much bigger than they are today, there was a time when there was no sun, only a moon and stars.

One day, Dinewan the emu and Brolga the beautiful dancing bird, were out on a large plain arguing and fighting. Brolga got so angry that she ran over to Dinewan's nest and grabbed one of her large eggs, which she threw up into the sky with all her might. It landed on a heap of firewood breaking, spilling the yellow yolk, which burst into flames. This lit up the whole world below to the astonishment of all the creatures as they had only been used to the semi-darkness and were dazzled by such brightness.

A good spirit who lived in the sky saw how beautiful the earth looked when it was lit up by this blaze. He thought it would be a good thing to make a fire every day; which he has done ever since. All night the good spirit and his helpers collect wood and stack it up. When the stack is nearly big enough, the good spirit sends out the morning star to let them know on earth that the fire will soon be lit.

However, the spirits found that sending out the morning star was not enough because those who slept did not see it. The spirits decided they must have a noise made at the dawn of each new day to announce the arrival of the sun, which would wake the sleepers - but what noise.

Then one day the spirits heard the laughter of Goo-goor-gaga, the kookaburra ringing through the air. This was the noise the spirits were looking for. They asked Goo-goor-gaga that as the morning star faded and the day dawned, every morning would he laugh his loudest to awaken all the sleepers before sunrise. Goo-goor-gaga agreed and has done so ever since - making the air ring with his early morning laughter.

Ordering Process

You may place an Order through the Website by submitting the electronic Order form on the Website.
By completing and submitting the electronic Order Form, you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract.
The receipt of an order number or an email order confirmation does not constitute the acceptance of an order or a confirmation of an offer to sell.

Acceptance or Rejection of Order

Dreamtime Kullilla-Art reserves the right to accept or reject your Order.
In the event that we reject your Order we will notify you of this within five (5) Business Days after the placement of the Order.
Where we reject an Order and the payment has already been processed, we will refund any money paid to us in respect of that Order and make reasonable endeavours to process the refund within five (5) Business Days.

Order Cancellation Due To Error

Dreamtime Kullilla-Art makes every reasonable effort to ensure that we are presenting accurate information on our website.
In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect description or image due to a typographical error or similar oversight, Dreamtime Kullilla-Art reserves the right to cancel the transaction whether or not the order has been confirmed and payment made to us.
If payment has been made to us we will immediately refund the amount paid by reversal of the initial payment.

Product Descriptions

We strive to ensure that our products are described as accurately as possible on our website; however we do not warrant that the description is accurate. Where we become aware of any incorrect description, we reserve the right to correct any error or omission.
Images have been provided for illustrative purposes only and we do not guarantee that any image will reproduce in true colour or that any given image will reflect or portray the full design or options relating to that product.

Product Returns and Refunds

Our first priority is your satisfaction. If your item is faulty upon arrival or is not as described, we will gladly exchange the item or refund to you the value of the item.
Returns are subject to us receiving the item back within 10 days of purchase. Items must be returned with their original packaging and, unless they were damaged prior to you receiving them, must still be in an unused and saleable condition.

Freight and Shipping

When you order from us, we require you to provide your name, address for delivery, your email address, telephone contact and credit card details. We undertake to take due care with this information; however in providing us with such information you accept that we are not liable for its misuse due to error in transmission or virus or malware.
Shipping charges apply as are set out on our website. We reserve the right to amend these charges from time to time.
Delivery of your ordered product/s will be as set out on our website. Title in the goods passes to you when we have accepted your offer to purchase and payment has been received.

Insurance

Dreamtime Kullilla-Art takes no further responsibility for the delivery of the order (ie lost or damaged) once we have a receipted proof of postage if no insurance is selected. We take every precaution to package the order carefully and sufficiently however we will not be responsible for any Third Party mishandling of orders.

Import Duties

Some countries impose import duties on goods brought into that country. It is your responsibility to determine what duty or tax you may have to pay to your Government for the import of goods ordered from us. We are not responsible for any customs brokerage fees or import taxes.

Availability of Goods

Although we strive to keep an accurate amount of stock on hand, you acknowledge that from time to time a product on our website may be unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances. We will endeavour to contact you within 5 business days to arrange a full refund, replace the item with a comparable piece in a similar price range or come to an alternative arrangement.
In the case of a full refund, the receipt of your refund will depend on the period of time it takes your financial institution to finalise the refund.
We reserve the right to remove any product displayed on our website from sale either temporarily or permanently at any time without notice.
