This paper is eco friendly, being made from cotton scraps sourced from the garment industry. No wood or toxic chemicals are used in the production of these products. At the moment humans destroy an unbelievable 149 acres of forest per minute! One tonne of handmade paper saves an estimated 277 eucalyptus trees! Not only does this paper benefit the environment, the handmade quality of the paper is beautiful and produced in clean airy SEDEX certified workshops in Jaipur, India.
Lynette's sculptural work and paintings are narrative, telling the stories of life on country and in community. Salt Lake is dotted throught the country she is familiar with.She lives in Irrunytju (Wingellina) and although she lives in the Ngaanyatjarra Lands, her heritage is the Pitjantjatjara language and cultural group.
