Goorrarndal is the Kija word for brolga. These earrings were designed by Kija artist Rowena Morgan. Brolgas are one of Rowena’s favourite birds, often seen dancing out on the flood plains of her Country.

Nagula Jarndu - Saltwater Woman is an Indigeous governed and directed not-for-profit organisation that has been runnig over 30 years. It is a culturally safe space for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Women to come together to create contemporary art, textiles and products inspired by liyan (feeling) and imagery from Country snd Dreaming. It enables women to earn income from art whilst maintining a connection and sharing of knowledge with a wider audience. The workshop space has a strong focus on handprinted textiles and paper prints. The also make their own cold process soap, soy wax candles and earrings
