Sharing knowledge depicts a learning circle and represents a holistic approach to teaching and acquiring knowledge within the Murri community.
The inner circles represent the story/learning with the each circle being the different levels of understanding, while the wavy pattern represents the journey of learning. The pattern has been centred around the inner circles to demonstrate the Journey. The larger dots are the mentors/teachers/elders that guide and impart the knowledge; and the smaller dots are this being those being taught. The star highlights the importance of knowledge and self empowerment. The solid circle links all these components together, while the outside broken line shows that knowledge and can be adapted and moulded to maintain its relevance to current trends and needs within community.
Sharing Knowledge demonstrates a methodology – a way of understanding and seeing the world, and a focus for all educators to guide their practice.

Great productBy: Michael on 27 November 2017we use this recycled mat called 'Circle Time' with Aboriginal high school students. it allows the students to appreciate their culture while also being a tool to inspire and help them learn through the story depicted on the art. all while sitting and having a yarn on the mat. such a great resource that can be used in a range of ways!
